When it comes to putting players in the NFL, its really been the same 5-6 programs over the past 20+ years.

On Wednesday, Pick Six Previews took a look at the colleges with the most NFL Draft picks by position since 2000 and it’s really pretty remarkable.

  • QB: LSU
  • RB: Alabama
  • WR: LSU & Ohio State
  • TE: Notre Dame
  • OL: Ohio State
  • DL: Ohio State
  • LB: Georgia
  • DB: Ohio State
  • Total Picks: Ohio State

Fans reacted to PSP’s find on social:

“Just for those keeping score,” tweeted BuckeyeHuddle.com’s Kevin Noon.

“BoUgHt nOt DeVeLoPeD,” an OSU fan commented.

“LSU at QB seems surprising,” a user said.

“NFL U,” another Ohio State account replied.

When you think about the Urban Meyer alone at Ohio State it’s littered with NFL players.

In 2016, OSU had 12 players selected: Joey Bosa (DE), Ezekiel Elliott (RB), Eli Apple (DB), Taylor Decker (OL), Darron Lee (LB), Michael Thomas (WR), Vonn Bell (DB), Adolphus Washington (DL), Braxton Miller (WR/QB), Nick Vannett (TE), Joshua Perry (LB) and Cardale Jones (QB) were all drafted within the first four rounds.

And it hasn’t stopped since then. Once Ryan Day took over the picks kept coming and the Bucks are expected to place another nine players in the league this year. Which school are you least/most surprised by?
