The matchup marks the first time in over a decade that the two historic rivals have played one-another in Ireland and will be the second time it’s being played at Aviva Stadium. As you might imagine, fans are hyped.
Ahead of the game, the streets of Dublin are absolutely packed. Several entire blocks are practically standing room only as Notre Dame and Navy fans flood the streets on their long walk to the stadium.

Today’s game marks the eighth to be played in Ireland since 1988. Notre Dame has already appeared in two of those games – both against Navy – and came out victorious in both.
Last year we saw Northwestern top Nebraska in a 31-28 win.Â
Next year will see Georgia Tech play Florida State at Aviva Stadium in the last college football game currently scheduled to be played in Ireland.
Who do you have coming out on top today?
