OPEN THREAD: College Football Week 1 — Mayo Wrestling

WHERE’S THE CHICKEN SALAD WITH RAISINS?!

Good morning and welcome to week one of the college football season, and we still have a day to go before the Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee. While week zero certainly did happen, week one is called “week one” for a reason.

On Thursday night we saw the Ohio State Buckeyes struggle a bit against the Minnesota Gophers until tOSU finally pulled away. On Friday night we saw the Virginia Tech Hokies finally beat a ranked opponent in Lane Stadium — and it just so happened to be the North Carolina Tar Heels. You know — one of Notre Dame’s opponents that the pundits have been drooling over during the offseason.

So here we go… it’s perfectly fine if you want to go nuts and smear mayo all over your body. College Football is back — SPREAD IT ON!
