There was a lot of hype surrounding this Saturday’s game between No. 10 Notre Dame and NC State. Unfortunately, this matchup has been on hold due to inclement weather.
Roughly an hour ago, Notre Dame provided an update on this afternoon’s weather delay.
“The @NDFootball – NC State game has been suspended for pending inclement weather in the Raleigh area,” Notre Dame’s PR team announced. “No estimated time for the resumption of the game at this point.”
That’s obviously not what fans want to hear.

To make matters worse, NC State’s scoreboard at Carter-Finley Stadium shorted out due to a lightning strike.
“The stadium video board just shorted out after a lightning strike,” Pete Sampson of The Athletic wrote on the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Good times. The best times.”
Notre Dame was leading 3-0 over NC State before the officials stopped this game.
We’re hoping we receive a promising update on this showdown in the very near future.
