More bad news
It’s more bad news for Jordan Botelho and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. According to a report by ISD’s Matt Freeman, Notre Dame defensive end Jordan Botelho, has suffered a pec injury and will be out for the next four months.

Botelho has always been seen as an enforcer type on defense with his violent playing style and attitude, but he’s also a playmaker. Jordan played really well to start the season for Notre Dame in 2025, but it all came crashing down with a season-ending injury against the Purdue Boilermakers.
Notre Dame does have a fair amount of good depth at the position having Boubacar Traore and Junior Tuihalamaka on one side with Bryce Young and Joshua Burnham on the other — but as we found out last year — 16 games is a long season. So, on the bright side, a long playoff run for the Irish could mean the return Botelho (given the timeframe) just as we saw Charles Jagusah come back from a season-ending injury last year to play in the college football playoffs.
Good luck to Jordan and his recovery.
