Notre Dame announces spring football practice schedule with no media viewing available

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish finally released their spring football practice schedule on Wednesday. The Irish will get things started this Saturday and spread 14 practices out over the course of the next month with the Blue-Gold game scheduled for May 1.

There will be NO media viewings allowed for the spring practices. I’ve been stating this for a few weeks now, and despite states opening up — or whatever — Notre Dame will practice with an abundance of caution. Also… with a new defensive coordinator in Marcus Freeman and new transfer quarterback in Jack Coan, did you really think Notre Dame wasn’t going to find an option to keep things in house?

More information about the spring game, tickets, and more will be available at a later date. Notre Dame will continue to provide some footage from practice for us all to digest — just like they did last fall with the epic highlights of Jordan Johnson.
