There he is
Notre Dame quarterback Sam Hartman went undrafted in the NFL Draft, but he was quickly scooped up and signed as an UDFA with the Washington Commanders
Signed.

Hartman’s transfer from Wake Forest to Notre Dame had most Irish fans dreaming of a playoff run in 2023. While that didn’t happen — and there are many reasons why outside of how the QB played — I’m still really glad he made the jump.
Despite the nationwide love affair with his hair and his looks, Hartman carried himself very professionally and with a nice combination of confidence and humility. On multiple occasions he spoke of Notre Dame as if he had been there from the start of his career and showed real appreciation to fans, teammates, and the university.
I have no idea how his NFL career will go, but I will always be thankful for his time at Notre Dame and the part he played in bringing the Jeweled Shillelagh back home to South Bend.
Good luck in D.C. Sam, and I hope it goes better than Tommy Rees’s time in the nation’s capital (that’s a Jude joke BTW).
