NBC is kicking off this year’s coverage of Notre Dame’s football team with a new score bug.
On Saturday afternoon, NBC unveiled its new design as soon as the ball was kicked off between Navy and Notre Dame.
The new design is awfully similar to what NBC uses for its “Sunday Night Football” coverage.

Judging by the reactions on social media, the football world is content with the new look.
“This is a sharp looking scorebug,” Matt Reynoldson said. “NBC and FOX have both moved to bigger, more visible scorebugs in recent years.”
Tyson Whiting wrote, “It seem like every network’s scorebug look the same or at least something very similar looking.”
“It’s not bad looking,” a fan commented.
Eventually, Notre Dame fans will get used to the new score bug.
As for the actual game itself, Notre Dame holds a commanding 21-0 lead over Navy.
