Marcus Freeman Doesn't Hold Back Thoughts On Facing Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr.

If Marcus Freeman is going to lead Notre Dame to a win over Ohio State this Saturday, his defense will need to be at its best.

During an appearance on “SportsCenter” this week, Freeman raved about Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and what he brings to the table.

“He’s a talented, complete wide receiver,” Freeman said, via Saturday Tradition. “He’s extremely athletic. Great size. I could go on and on about him. He is a great football player.”

Even though Freeman considers Harrison to be a special talent, he believes Notre Dame’s secondary will be up for the challenge.

“Our guys are up for the challenge. Our corners, I’ll tell you what are confident. They’re excited for the challenge. Any great competitor wants to play against the best, and he’s definitely one of the best.”

Harrison is off to another great start with the Buckeyes. In three games, he has 14 catches for 304 yards and three touchdowns.

We’ll see if Notre Dame can actually slow down Harrison this evening in South Bend.
