Mike Golic stands in front of a billboard.

Mike Golic’s son Mike Jr. has followed in his footsteps in a number of ways, most notably playing college football at Notre Dame and breaking into sports media.

Next week, they’ll have share another cool father-son moment. Both Golics will be broadcasting the same college football game: NC State at Mississippi State.

Christine Golic–Mike’s wife and Mike Jr’s mom–broke the news on Twitter today, with Golic Sr. joking that he’s going to pilfer his son’s pregame notes.

According to the elder Golic, he’ll be calling the game on Mississippi State’s radio broadcast while his son will be doing the game on television for ESPN.

Golic Jr. worked yesterday’s West Virginia-Maryland game for the Worldwide Leader, alongside play-by-play man Anish Shroff and sideline reporter Taylor McGregor.

NC State and Mississippi State will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET next Saturday from Starkville. If you want to watch Mike Golic Jr., tune in to ESPN2.

If you want to listen to his dad, find the Learfield Mississippi State broadcast.
