Notre Dame just couldn’t help it. Moments after the Fighting Irish’s thumping of No. 18 Wisconsin on Saturday, their locker room reportedly erupted with “Jump Around.”
The Badgers play “Jump Around” in between the third and fourth quarters at each and every home game. It’s one of the best traditions in college football. Notre Dame wanted to partake.
The Fighting Irish smoked the Badgers 41-13 at Soldier Field on Saturday afternoon. Notre Dame players then ran to the locker room to celebrated. They did so in trolling fashion.
The Notre Dame locker room was reportedly playing “Jump Around” following the Fighting Irish’s win.
Notre Dame locker room currently playing Jump Around. And it sounds quite rowdy in here.

Well done, Notre Dame. That’s how you troll an opponent.
There were questions about the Fighting Irish coming into Saturday’s game. They answered them. Notre Dame’s defense intercepted four Graham Mertz passes and returned two of them for a touchdown. Quarterback Jack Coan was efficient – 15 of 29 for 158 yards and one touchdown – before exiting the game with an injury. Drew Pyne did well in relief, throwing for 81 yards and a score.
Looking ahead, the schedule doesn’t get any easier for the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame’s October schedule features Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, USC and North Carolina. Coan’s health will prove critical to ND’s success during that span.
For now, though, the Fighting Irish will celebrate their big win over Wisconsin. We have a feeling “Jump Around” is going to be the most popular song in South Bend this weekend.
