Kevin Austin REVENGE GAME
How’d We Do Last Week?
As mentioned last week, I will feature the Most Interesting, Most Wildly Inaccurate, and Most Accurate Takes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish from the previous week. Here we go!
Interesting
Perdue Chicken Takes it!

Loved the double pun focusing on Perdue Chicken and incorporating it into takes. I kid you not I went and picked up Chicken Sandwiches this weekend after reading this take. Shoutout to some incredible other takes from the GodBacker and Farsdahl. Your takes may need an entire article to dissect, because they were truly wonderful. Keep it up folks!
Wildly Inaccurate
WRONG!

I too hoped you were wrong Christmas Dash. Irish didn’t wear green and they won by 2 scores. Love the Kyle Hamilton takes, though!
Accurate
Joe Alt!

While he didn’t sub in at tackle, Joe Alt did sub in at TE, which WAS AWESOME. He made a nice block on Kyren’s touchdown run. Alt has such a bright future and I expect him to play in some situations throughout the rest of the year. Also, HOT TAKE- Alt will have a goal line receiving touchdown this year.
PS……I was nervous as hell on Saturday watching HC/ND….but alas, W and and W!
Now let’s get to the takes for the upcoming action featuring the Notre Dame Fighting Irish against the Wisconsin Badgers
Cold Take
Notre Dame Gets Dominated in Time of Possession

Not all takes need to skew in favor of the Irish. One thing that Notre Dame will need to do to win this game is hit on big plays. They are not going to slowly march down the field with this O-line going against the Wisconsin Linebackers/D-line. Wisconsin is going to do what Wisconsin does on offense…..Rely on a massive O-line and slug it out in the run game, while trying to hit short/intermediary routes. This will eat up a TON of clock. The biggest area I will be focusing on is Notre Dame’s defensive performance in the red zone. If Marcus Freeman’s unit can hunker down by the goal line and force field goals, the Irish could pull away early. Wisconsin is not a team built to come from behind, and Notre Dame needs to get a lead early to force the Badgers off their game. While Wisconsin will dominate TOP, I don’t think this stat will determine the outcome of the game.
Hot Take
Kevin Austin has 150 yards and 2 TDs

Everyone knows that Austin struggled against Purdue last week. He was great in the first 2 games, but was a bust last week…..and didn’t receive many favors from Coan. What will Austin do after a down week? He will dominate, plain and simple. He will elevate himself to a true Alpha receiver. I see Wisconsin focusing on getting pressure on Coan and blanketing Michael Mayer. Those two combinations should results in some 1 on 1 matchups, which Austin will win this week. Look for a huge chunk of the yards to come on 1-2 catches before Wisconsin shifts to shut him down. Austin is going to be the dude this week. Mark my words.
Your Takes: Please leave your takes below (hot, cold medium-any temp). I will feature the Top Takes next week. GO IRISH!
