Bring in the horses
The Notre Dame Football recruiting machine has been humming along for the past month with a large handful of big-time commitments. As it stands right now, the Irish have 22 commitments for the 2026 class and are currently ranked #3 in the country according to the 247 Team Composite Rankings.
Those numbers could see a significant jump this month. There are five specific commitment announcement coing up this month — and all five are considered to be Notre Dame leans at the moment.
Here is a list of all 5 and the date they have schedule to announce their commitment:
- 4-Star WR Kaydon Finley, Texas — July 4
- 3-Star WR Devin Fitzgerald, Arizona — July 5
- 4-Star WR Brayden Robinson, Texas — July 6
- 3-Star S Nick Reddish, North Carolina — July 11
- 4-Star DT Elijah Golden, Florida — July 26
Even if all 5 commit to Notre Dame to give the class 27 players, Notre Dame still will be ranked #3 in the country — but that’s not the important part.
What’s important is that Marcus freeman and the Irish are locking up a large class full of PLAN A players, and massive difference makers at multiple positions. It’s a level of recruiting that we haven’t seen in South Bend for quite some time, and it’s setting the Irish up for more years of continued success on the field.
Buckle up… it should be a fun month.
