Notre Dame’s football team could be in line for a new apparel deal, according to Ross Dellenger of Sports Illustrated.
Dellenger reported Thursday morning that Notre Dame’s exclusive negotiating window with Under Armour has expired. That means one of the biggest brands in the sport is about to hit the open market.
The Fighting Irish have been under a 10-year, $90 million contract with Under Armour since 2014. That deal will expire after next season.
Dellenger expects Nike and Adidas to consider making a bid on Notre Dame.
Judging by the reactions on social media, the college football world wants to see Notre Dame strike a deal with the Jordan Brand.
