Kennedy Urlacher, the son of Hall of Fame linebacker Brian Urlacher, announced his college football commitment Monday.
The safety will take a different path toward following his father’s footsteps. Urlacher will join Notre Dame after graduating from Chandler High School in 2024.
Some which experienced a mid-life crisis at the thought of Urlacher’s son going to college next year.

The younger Urlacher explained his decision to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
“The one thing that ultimately stood out to me about ND was the education and network that there is over there,” Urlacher said. “Another thing that helped was the relationships I have built with the coaching staff.”
The three-star recruit selected Notre Dame over TCU, Miami, and Penn State. Oven a dozen other teams gave him a scholarship team.
At 6-foot-0 and 190 pounds, Urlacher isn’t as large as his legendary dad. But he’ll have a chance to carve out his own legacy at South Bend.
