Fans Starting To Worry About Notre Dame's Future Under Marcus Freeman

Notre Dame has had a brutal time against Clemson on Saturday.

Even though the Fighting Irish came into the game as the No. 12 team in the country with a 7-2 record, they’re still losing to the Tigers by eight, 31-23.

They were down 24-9 at halftime and have come a little closer in the second half, but not enough to tie it.

It’s led some college football fans to wonder how far Notre Dame can go under second-year head coach Marcus Freeman.

“Wonder how much ND will allow Marcus Freeman to pay Sean Lewis to coach his offense? Better yet, maybe coach the entire team,” another tweet read.

We’ll see if Freeman can get his team back on track in the late stages of the third quarter and the fourth quarter.

You can watch the second half on ABC.
