It may not be illegal to have a wedding on Saturdays and Sundays in the fall, but it probably should be. Especially with some of the incredible games we have coming up.

According to The Knot, September 23 has emerged as the most popular date for weddings in the fall this year. And if you’re a diehard college football fan, that means you’re going to be missing out on some great ones.

September 23 marks Week 4 of the 2023 college football schedule. Here are the five marquee matchups:

  • Florida State at Clemson
  • Ohio State at Notre Dame
  • Ole Miss at Alabama
  • Iowa at Penn State
  • SMU at TCU

That’s several games featuring teams with national title ambitions along with a few historic rivalry games to boot. The losers of the FSU-Clemson, Ohio State-Notre Dame and Ole Miss-Alabama games are probably going to be out of national title contention in short order.
