For the first time in history ESPN College GameDay is heading to Raleigh-Durham as Duke host the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Joining the regulars at the desk will be a special guest picker: Comedian and actor Ken Jeong.
“Our FIRST EVER guest picker at Duke … @kenjeong,” College GameDay said in a post on X. Jeong got his B.S. from Duke and his doctorate at UNC
The iconic actor from The Hangover and Community has appeared on College GameDay before and he did something on his appearance that everyone wants him to do again. In his last appearance when they were picking the UCLA-Utah game, Jeong gave a shoutout to his wife Tran Ho – but the other cast members didn’t know that was her name and hilarity ensued.
“My wife went to UCLA Medical. Shout out Tran ‘You Complete Me’ Ho. That’s her last name. Relax, ESPN. How dare you?” he joked.
Gonna need @KenJeong to shout out his wife again on GameDay: pic.twitter.com/YfdSsLLU9a https://t.co/3SZDCgojeG

He’s going to make inappropriate jokes. And I’m okay with that.

Ken Jeong initially worked as a physician from 1998 to 2006 before going into acting full-time.
His breakout roles came as the villain Leslie Chow in The Hangover in 2009 and as Ben Chang on the comedy series Community in that same year.
Perhaps one of those characters will make a “cameo” appearance on GameDay too.
