After spending Week 3 in Boulder, Colorado for the first time in decades, College GameDay is heading to more familiar territory for one of the biggest games of the season.

College GameDay just announced that it will be heading to South Bend, Indiana next weekend for the big regular season showdown between Notre Dame and Ohio State. It will be the first game of the season pitting two top 10 teams against each other.

“WE’RE HEADED TO THE SHOWDOWN IN SOUTH BEND The Buckeyes will meet the Fighting Irish on Saturday and we can’t wait to be there!” College GameDay said in a post on X.

Last year the Buckeyes and Fighting Irish had their first regular season meeting since 1996, which ended in an emphatic Ohio State victory as they won the game 21-10.

In fact, Ohio State is currently on a five-game winning streak against Notre Dame that dates back to 1995.

The last time the Fighting Irish beat the Buckeyes was all the way back in 1936.

Will Ohio State extend their winning streak over Notre Dame, or will the Fighting Irish knock the Buckeyes down to size?

The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. ET and will air on NBC.
