It’s time to start giving Ian Book the respect he deserves just in case you haven’t already. At this point, it’s long overdue.
The Notre Dame quarterback has turned into a college football superstar this month. First, he upset previously top-ranked Clemson in South Bend last weekend. Now, he’s following it up with a brilliant performance versus Boston College this afternoon.
The Eagles have been a thorn in the Fighting Irish’s side in the past, especially during years ND has a chance to make a national championship run like this season. But Book is carrying Notre Dame on his back today, and has the Fighting Irish on the verge on adding another win on the season.
College football fans and analyst are taking notice of Book’s play these past two weeks. It’s safe to say he’s gaining plenty of fans today.
Fabulous 1st half from Ian Book.
17-of-23, 213 yards & 3 TD passes (all to Ben Swokronek).
Book has rushed for 67 yards on 8 carries.

idk what’s gotten into Ian Book in the last 2 weeks, but he’s more comfortable maneuvering in the pocket than I’ve ever seen him

All credit to ND. I thought they’d come out flat post-Clemson. Quite the opposite, Ian Book picked up where he left off in OT last week. Looks great.

Ian Book definitely deserves plenty of credit. He’s playing like a Heisman contender these past two weeks. Fans and analysts are finally taking notice of what he’s capable of.
Notre Dame’s offensive line deserves just as much credit, though. The unit is one of the best in all of college football. Book rarely has to worry about avoiding defensive pressure.
If the Fighting Irish keep playing like they have this month, they’ll be on their way to a College Football Playoff selection. First thing’s first, though – they need to take care of business versus Boston College.
