Spring football is officially in the books. Now, it’s time to start looking ahead to the 2022 season. On Tuesday, 247Sports released a post-spring college football top 10 list. To no surprise, Alabama checks in at No. 1.
The Crimson Tide return both their offensive and defensive stars in Bryce Young and Will Anderson. There’s an argument to be made they’re the top two players in the sport, at least right now. Alabama will top dog this upcoming season.
The defending champion Georgia Bulldogs are No. 3 in 247Sports top 10. Ohio State checks in one spot higher at No. 2.
The full top 10 can be found below, courtesy of 247Sports.
- Alabama
- Ohio State
- Georgia
- Texas A&M
- Clemson
- Utah
- Notre Dame
- NC State
- Michigan
- Oklahoma
It’s a bit surprising to see teams like Texas A&M and Clemson in the top five. Both teams are full of talent, but relatively unproven.
Utah, meanwhile, could be flying under the radar a bit. The Utes were one of the best teams in college football down the stretch of the 2021 season.
With the 2022 season still months away, who do you think will win the championship?
