
The Hoosiers’ are expected to land the younger DeVries, one of the top wings in the country.
Tucker DeVries, one of the best wings in the country and son of new Indiana men’s basketball head coach Darian DeVries, has entered the transfer portal according to reporting from On3’s Pete Nakos:

Nakos noted that the younger DeVries entered the portal with a “do-not-contact” tag. Not to long after, On3’s Joe Tipton logged an official prediction for Indiana to land DeVries’ commitment.
DeVries was present at his father’s introductory press conference on Wednesday in Bloomington, wearing an Indiana hoodie off to the side of the room before posing for photos with the rest of the DeVries family.
He won the Missouri Valley Conference’s Player of the Year award twice during his time at Drake and followed his father when the latter was hired at West Virginia.
He was sidelined for much of this season, playing in only eight games for the Mountaineers due to injury. DeVries averaged 14.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists across those eight games while shooting 47.3% from long range.
In 2023-24, his final season at Drake, DeVries averaged 21.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists.
