The Hoosiers will be without their best shooter from last season.
Indiana forward Luke Goode’s waiver request for a fifth year of eligibility has been denied by the NCAA, per reporting from Zach Osterman of the Indianapolis Star:

Goode spent just one season with the Hoosiers, averaging 9.1 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 26.7 minutes per game while shooting 39.2% from 3-point range in 2024-25. It’s a blow to next season’s roster, but it’s fair to imagine that Indiana’s staff has factored waiver denials into its construction with appropriate contingencies.
Goode went to Homestead High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and committed to play college basketball at Illinois after not receiving a scholarship offer from Indiana, then coached by Archie Miller. He spent three seasons with the Illini before transferring and joining the Hoosiers in 2024. His father, Craig Goode, played football at Indiana and his uncle, Trent Green, is famed former Hoosiers quarterback Trent Green.
