Allmond is one of the top frontcourt players available in the class of 2026.
Indiana men’s basketball’s new staff is at work on the high school recruiting trail locking in summer visits.
Latrell Allmond, a 4-star forward/center in the class of 2026, will visit Bloomington in June, according to a report from On3’s new Indiana site, The Hoosier:
2026 four-star forward Latrell Allmond (@_rxprell) confirms to @TheHoosierOn3 that he’s set a date for an official visit to Indiana next month.

Allmond earned a scholarship offer from the program earlier this month, with a visit indicating the interest is mutual.
The 6-8 Allmond’s position varies in the recruiting databases, with 247Sports listing him as a center and On3 listing him as a power forward. The former has him as the 43rd highest-rated player in the class of 2026 and the fourth highest-rated center while the latter has him as the 41st highest-rated player overall and the sixth highest-rated power forward.
Allmond’s other offers include include Florida State, Louisville, LSU, Missouri and Georgetown.
Given the offer from the Hoyas, there’s a chance that new assistant coach Kenny Johnson, previously on Ed Cooley’s staff in Washington D.C., thought highly enough of Allmond to get an offer extended.
One way or another, it’s big for Indiana to get a visit this quickly. This is a recruitment to watch.
