Fox’s Joel Klatt praised the work Curt Cignetti has done as head coach.
Indiana football was the surprise story of the 2024 college football season.
The Hoosiers, under outspoken first year head coach Curt Cignetti, went 11-2 and went all the way to the College Football Playoff, where they fell to eventual national championship runner-up Notre Dame on the road in South Bend.
It was an extremely impressive debut year for Cignetti’s program in Bloomington, but Fox’s Joel Klatt said he expects to see the Hoosiers stick around as a winning program for the foreseeable future on his podcast:

“Curt Cignetti and those Hoosiers are not going away, much to some people’s chagrin,” Klatt said. “You know who you are, badmouthing the Hoosiers last year.”
Klatt said the Hoosiers went on an unexpected Cinderella run through the 2024 season and noted that several key contributors like Mikail Kamara, Aiden Fisher and D’Angelo Ponds returned for the upcoming 2025 season.
Indiana is set to open the 2025 season at home against Old Dominion on August 30th.
