Currie-Jelks spent two seasons at Indiana after transferring in from UT-Martin, where she averaged 15.2 points per game in nearly 30 minutes per contest as a freshman.
Despite her production in the OVC, Currie-Jelks struggled to make the transition to a high-major. In two years at Indiana, she appeared in just nine games. She played a career-high five minutes against Eastern Illinois last season, but failed to crack the rotation in two years.
It wouldn’t be surprising to see her move back to a smaller program like UT-Martin.
Teri Moren’s group has now had five transfers out, including Sendvik. Earlier this week, Lily Meister, Lexus Bargesser, and Julianna LaMendola all announced they’d be transfering, while Henna Sandvik made her announcement today.
With three seniors graduating, Moren will have a lot of roster spots to fill for next season’s big reset.
