Sandvik spent three seasons with the Hoosiers without ever really establishing herself in Teri Moren’s rotation. She saw the most time her last season in Bloomington, playing an average of 9.9 minutes per contest across 29 games.
She set her career-high in scoring with a 13-point performance against Bellarmine, in which she also grabbed six rebounds and dished out two assists. She went 3-5 from 3-point range that game.
Her shooting last season was the best of her career, going 38.1% from deep on limited attempts. This should be a big selling point for teams looking to add perimeter scoring.
Teri Moren’s group has now had five transfers out, including Sendvik. Earlier this week, Lily Meister, Lexus Bargesser, and Julianna LaMendola all announced they’d be transfering, while Sharnecce Currie-Jelks made her announcement today.
