Curt Cignetti and company likely have the bulk of their 2026 class committed.

When Curt Cignetti said he was going to build Indiana through the high school ranks, he meant it.
The 11-2 dream season of 2025 is firmly in the rearview mirror as the staff looks to balance winning in the short term while building for the future. While last season’s roster was primarily built to take advantage of a softer schedule and win a solid amount of games, this year’s group has sacrificed some depth to make way for incoming high schoolers.
The summer is when the bulk of high school recruiting decisions come to a head. Programs lay a firm foundation for the classes they’d like the build with the chance to add (or lose!) a few commitments in the months to come.
As of this publication, Indiana has 19 commitments in the class of 2026. That number will likely grow in the coming months, but this group makes up the bulk of the final class that’ll end up signing.
The class is graded in at 32nd nationally by 247Sports and 29th by On3. That’s a jump from last year’s class and a welcome one given this is Cignetti’s first full cycle as head coach.
With that in mind, how are you feeling about Indiana’s recruiting efforts in 2026?
