One and done in Bloomington.

Rice spent one season at Indiana after transferring in from Washington State, where he won Pac 12 freshman of the year.
In his lone season in Bloomington, Rice appeared in 32 games, making 25 starts and averaging 10.1 points and 2.8 assists per game. He also averaged one steal per game as one of Indiana’s strongest on-ball defenders.
Rice came to Indiana with high expectations, but could never find the consistency to cement his spot in the starting lineup or rotation. He had a season-high of 23 points against South Carolina, for example, but ended the season with a zero point performance against Oregon in the Big Ten Tournament.
Given his sheer athleticism and defensive ability, expect Rice to be highly sought after in the portal.
