Indiana men’s basketball junior forward Malik Reneau has entered the transfer portal according to numerous reports and Reneau himself on Twitter.

Reneau led Indiana in points per game this past season with 13.3 while averaging 5.5 rebounds and 2 assists in 23.2 minutes per contest. He also crossed the 1,000 point threshold this past season, one of just 55 players in program history to do so.
He committed to Indiana late in the 2022 cycle after decommitting from Florida upon the firing of then-Gators head coach Mike White. He previously played at Montverde Academy in Florida alongside then-Indiana signee Jalen Hood-Schifino.
Reneau was a starter for each of the past two seasons in Bloomington after beginning his career coming off of the bench as a freshman.
He’s the program’s second entry into the portal after the hiring of Darien DeVries as head coach, following Gabe Cupps earlier in the day.
