The Hoosiers are alongside Duke, Kansas, Michigan State, Pitt and Harvard in Amachree’s final six. Amachree plays for Haslett High School in Haslett, Michigan, so the Spartans have some level of a home state advantage. 247Sports has already logged a prediction for Amachree to ultimately commit to Michigan State.
Indiana has shown immediate success with running backs in just one year under Curt Cignetti and John Miller, with Justice Ellison putting up 848 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground on 5.3 yards per carry in 2024.
Even if the Hoosiers don’t ultimately land a commitment from Amachree, it’s important to get in on prospects like this to establish the program around the Midwest.
