Campbell took an official visit to Bloomington on June 13th, announcing his commitment three days later. He’s highly pursued, especially among programs in the southeast, holding offers from Alabama, Auburn, Arkansas, Florida and Georgia among others including Louisville, Michigan and Missouri.
At 5’10”, 150 lbs (per 247Sports), Campbell fits the profile that Indiana typically goes after at running back with the potential to bulk up for the college level. His weight may not say it, but his highlight tape over on Hudl shows he’s a physical runner who can get through defenders. If he’s not being physical, he has a bag of moves he can get to in the open field to find space.
He’s also a reliable pass catcher, another trait Indiana looks for. He’ll be one to watch, especially with a long road between now and signing day.
