Dylan Raiola, Nebraska Having Horrible Day Against Indiana

October 20, 2024 by The Spun

Most Obscure Mascots In College Football (1:07)

It has not been a good day at the office for Nebraska on Saturday.

The Cornhuskers came into Saturday’s game against the Indiana Hoosiers with a lot of momentum thanks to their 5-1 record but they have been badly outclassed by the Hoosiers and trail 49-7 in the fourth quarter.

Cornhuskers freshman quarterback Dylan Raiola hasn’t been able to do anything against this Hoosiers defense and has thrown two costly interceptions, including one at the end of the third quarter.

Even though Raiola has been great during the 2024 season, he got a humbling from a great Hoosiers defense. The Hoosiers are on their way to a 7-0 start and are showing a lot of people that they’re very much for real this season.

This was a game that a lot of fans were looking forward to because of how great both teams have been to start the season but it quickly turned into a blowout. The Hoosiers were up 28-7 at halftime before adding 14 more points in the third quarter.

Even though the Cornhuskers will lose this game, it shouldn’t take away from the fact that they’ve had a great season thus far and will have a chance to make a bowl game with one win in their last five games.
