DePaul transfer guard Conor Enright chooses Indiana

April 2, 2025 by Zags Blog

By SAM LANCE

Darian DeVries has wasted no time dipping in the portal as the new head coach of Indiana, grabbing his first addition this cycle in DePaul transfer guard Conor Enright.

The 6-foot-2 guard from Chicago was one of the nation’s elite playmakers last season. Enright’s 6.2 assist per game ranked top-20 in the nation and top-3 in the Big East conference.

Enright played in 23 games before he was sidelined with season-ending shoulder surgery in early February. He averaged 7.5 points in 2024-25 and was the engine that made DePaul go in a turnaround season under Chris Holtmann.

DeVries is not stranger to Enright’s game. He coached him at Drake for three seasons, including two trips to the NCAA Tournament. In those two seasons, Enright started 37 games and averaged 5.6 points, 2.4 assists and 2.7 rebounds while shooting 39.5% from 3-point range.

The point guard is ranked the No. 126 overall prospect in the portal by 247Sports and No. 90 on Evan Miya.

Indiana’s entire roster from last season has hit the portal. DeVries is creating a team from scratch. Enright, and retaining four-star forward Trent Sisley, is a good start. West Virginia transfer guard Tucker DeVries, Darian’s son, is expected to be following his father to Indiana as well.
