
Yasir Rosemond, Kenya Hunter and Brian Walsh have all been hired as assistants at high-major programs this offseason.
Indiana’s new staff is still in the process of becoming formalized, but all three former assistants have landed new roles at the high-major level.
Yasir Rosemond, Kenya Hunter and Brian Walsh have all been brought on as assistants at power programs this offseason after Mike Woodson stepped down and Darian DeVries was hired at Indiana.
Rosemond, whose connections to southern recruiting circles, particularly in the state of Georgia, proved useful to the Hoosiers is returning to the South to join LSU’s staff:

Kenya Hunter, who originally joined the Indiana program under Archie Miller before being retained by Woodson for the duration of his tenure, joined Sean Miller’s staff at Texas:

Finally, Brian Walsh, who was director of basketball operations under Miller before being retained and eventually promoted to an assistant coaching role by Woodson, has joined Jake Diebler’s staff over at Ohio State:

With their former boss reportedly returning to the NBA coaching ranks, every major member of Indiana’s 2024-25 men’s basketball staff has landed a new role.
