The Indiana Pacers shocked the world in the Eastern Conference Semifinals by knocking off the top-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in just five games. One of the key players in getting the team over the hump was All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton.
The two-time All-Star had 31 points in last night’s series-ending win. He saved the best for last as it was just the third 30-point performance of his career.
As you might expect, Haliburton and his teammates were over the moon after their 114-105 win over the Cavs. The team was undoubtedly celebrating in the locker room in a big way, and Haliburton’s stunning girlfriend Jade Jones was ready to party too.
Taking to Instagram last night, Jones had a simply, three-word message for everyone:
“Pacers in (five)!” she wrote, using an emoji to represent the number of games it took to knock off the Cavs.
Jones’ 50,000 followers certainly loved it. Taking to the replies, everyone was congratulating her and Haliburton for their performance, with many claiming that they’ve always known the team had elite potential.
“Been saying he’s the best PG in the east…” one user replied.
“INDY THIS IS FOR YOUUUU,” wrote another.
“WHAT THEY GONE SAY NOW‼️ YES’CERS,” a third wrote.

It’s been quite a ride for Tyrese Haliburton over the past 365 days. He led the team to the Eastern Conference Finals last year, only for his team to be thwarted by the Boston Celtics.
Haliburton followed that up by getting his first-ever gold medal representing the United States in the ensuing Olympics in Paris.
This past season he played in a career-high 73 games but saw a streak of back-to-back All-Star appearances snapped.
Haliburton has a real chance to restore the Pacers to glory in the Eastern Conference Finals. Whether that comes against the surging New York Knicks or a hobbled Celtics team, it’s certain to be exciting.
