Tyrese Haliburton records first 30-10-15 triple-double with no turnovers in playoffs history

May 28, 2025 by Hoops Hype

NBA PR: In Indiana’s Game 4 victory tonight, Tyrese Haliburton became the first player to have at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, 15 assists and no turnovers in a playoff game since the 1977-78 season (when turnovers were first tracked). The only other players to reach those totals for points, rebounds and assists in a playoff game are Oscar Robertson and Nikola Jokić.

Behind Haliburton’s masterful performance, the Pacers got the win — and need just one more.

Early last season the thing that stood out about the #Pacers beyond the pace was how rarely they turned the ball over. Pre-injury Haliburton shouldered an incredible workload & averaged 2.5 turnovers to 12.5 APG. A ridiculous differential. Wonder where they end up last yr w/ him. – 11:34 PM

Regular season and postseason
Games of 30+ points, 15+ assists, ZERO turnovers
Tyrese Haliburton: 3 (including tonight, first ever in NBA postseason history)
Everyone else since 2020: 2 (Harden, Jokić)

Chris Paul was 33 when he won his first Conference Finals game.
Isiah Thomas was 26 when he won his first Conference. Finals game.
Tyrese Haliburton is 25 and up 3-1 in the Conference Finals.
He’s the next great pure point guard. And he’s 100% right now a superstar. – 11:01 PM
John Karalis @John_Karalis
Probably shouldn’t have called Haliburton overrated – 10:56 PM
Law Murray @LawMurrayTheNU
Before Eastern Conference Finals
Pacers had two games all year where they had 2 players drop 30+ points in the same game (one of them against the KNICKS in November)
Now, it’s happened in two games of this ECF
Game 1: Haliburton/Nesmith
Game 4: Haliburton/Siakam – 10:56 PM
Sam Quinn @SamQuinnCBS
That was an A-lister performance from Haliburton. Just absolute superstar stuff.
I’m just trying to get ahead of the dumb cycle now. If he has quiet games against OKC (and everyone does), people will pretend like this gem didn’t happen. He is a no-questions-asked superstar. – 10:54 PM
Sam Vecenie @Sam_Vecenie
Going live here momentarily with @MotorCityHoops to talk about Tyrese Haliburton’s masterpiece against the Knicks and the Pacers being up 3-1. Then, Thunder-Wolves series, and some stuff on NBA Draft Early Entrants.

Nate Duncan @NateDuncanNBA
Probably the biggest area of growth for Tyrese Haliburton this postseason has been his defense. Hasn’t really been taken advantage of 1 on 1, and has been all over the place making plays as a helper in the way that had people excited when he was in college. – 10:51 PM
Micah Adams @MAdamsStatGuy
I need to know the 13 players who told The Athletic that Tyrese Haliburton is the most overrated player in the NBA. – 10:51 PM
Tom Haberstroh @tomhaberstroh
I can’t explain it but Tyrese Haliburton moves around the court like someone who averages 7 turnovers a game – 10:50 PM

Scott Agness @ScottAgness
Pacers hold off the Knicks for 130-121 win, now have 3-1 series lead. One win away from the NBA Finals.
Masterful game from Haliburton: 32p-12a-15a-4s-0t; Siakam added 30pts. Mathurin with 20. Knicks had three with 22+ pts: Brunson, Towns, Anunoby. – 10:49 PM
Kyle Neubeck @KyleNeubeck
32-12-15-4 with no turnovers is a video game line, insane Haliburton game – 10:48 PM

Glad Tyrese Haliburton’s father is witnessing this in person… – 10:47 PM

– Siakam with a quick 11pts.

Fred Katz @FredKatz
An otherworldly first-quarter from Tyrese Haliburton: 15 points, six assists and five boards. – 8:35 PM
Scott Agness @ScottAgness
One game after shooting 5/25 from distance, Pacers make 3 of 4 by the first timeout — called by NY.
They’re up 16-9. And Haliburton already has 3-3-3, doing a little bit of everything. – 8:13 PM

John Haliburton, father of Tyrese, reportedly cleared to attend Pacers’ home games again, starting with Game 4. However, he will be up in a suite and not courtside.

Dustin Dopirak: Tyrese Haliburton on John: “My dad is just fine. He’s either at a beautiful home or out at some sports bar with a bunch of Pacers fans. He’s been just fine.” -via Twitter @DustinDopirak / May 27, 2025
Dustin Dopirak: Rick Carlisle: “I get tired of talking about individual numbers. … Tyrese is a great player. I think people realize that. He happens to do some really impressive statistical things. But he’s well aware that all of this far transcends statistics.” -via Twitter @DustinDopirak / May 27, 2025
