INDIANAPOLIS – Bonjour, Paris.
The Indiana Pacers will play a pair of regular-season games in France in 2025, the NBA announced Monday.
The Blue and Gold will take on the San Antonio Spurs in a two-game series as part of the NBA Paris Games presented by Tissot. The games are schedule for Thursday, Jan. 23, and Saturday, Jan. 25.
According to the NBA, this marks the first time the league will play two regular-season games in the French capital in the same season. It’ll be the team’s first visit to France and the eleventh time the Pacers have played an international game.
The last time Indiana played overseas was 2019, when the team took on Sacramento in Mumbai, India, as part of the preseason.
The international trips are intended to help the NBA grow the game of basketball across the world. The Pacers and Spurs will hold interactive fan activities, NBA Cares community outreach initiatives and youth basketball development programs during their visit.
“The Pacers enjoy tremendous support from fans globally, and we are excited about the opportunity to be a part of the NBA’s efforts to continue bringing the game to new generations of fans all around the world,” said Kevin Pritchard, Pacers President of Basketball Operations.
