Obi Toppin is set to undergo foot surgery to repair a partial stress fracture of the fifth metatarsal in his right foot, the Indiana Pacers announced on Friday.
Toppin will miss at least the next three months.
“Probably not recommend talking about this again until probably Feb. 1, [in] three months,” said coach Rick Carlisle on Friday.
Toppin is scheduled to have the surgery on Monday.
Toppin left the Pacers’ game against Minnesota last Sunday after playing just 17 minutes.
