INDIANAPOLIS — Eagle-eyed Pacers fans will notice a change in the team’s jerseys next season, specifically near the left shoulder.
Last season, Indiana’s jerseys had a QR code advertising Fishers-based tech company Spokenote as the jersey patch sponsorship. Now, the Pacers will don the logo of a brand familiar to Indy sports fans: Lucas Oil.
The sponsor of the Indianapolis Colts’ downtown stadium, the Indianapolis-based Lucas Oil, is now doubling down on their commitment to sports in the Circle City.

“Lucas Oil is a true Indiana success story and a brand that has long stood for performance, innovation and community,” said CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment Mel Raines.
The Pacers made the announcement Wednesday, stating that the team and Lucas Oil have agreed to a multi-year jersey patch partnership. The Pacers will begin wearing the new patches starting Thursday during NBA Summer League competition.
As part of the agreement, the Pacers said a portion of the proceeds from every jersey sold will be donated to Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. These donations will provide critical care and services for Hoosier children and their families.
