Fans React To Tyrese Haliburton Trolling Ben Stiller After Game 6 Win

June 3, 2025 by The Spun

The 10 Flukiest Playoff Runs In NBA History (1:55)

Tyrese Haliburton got the last laugh on Knicks fans in more ways than one on Saturday night.

After taking over in the second half and helping lead the Pacers to 125-108 win to send the team to its first NBA Finals since 2000, the two-time All-Star also got his lick back on social media vs. actor Ben Stiller.

Prior to tip-off, the legendary comedian and Knicks superfan commented on Haliburton’s tunnel walk. Saying, “Good thing he brought his duffel for the flight to NY.”

Little did he know the 25-year-old floor general would circle back hours after Indiana’s victory to throw salt on the wound. “Nah, was to pack y’all up,” Haliburton replied.

Fans reacted to Hali’s viral response on X.

“LMAOOOOOOOOOO. Tyrese logged on solely to drag Ben. I love it. 😭😭” a user cried.

“can’t even hate ngl,” a New Yorker admitted.

“Rahhhhhh my franchise player,” a fan commented.

“Stop doing cool things, I don’t want to like you!” another user exclaimed.

“It’s not even that the knicks lost, but we let this guy have the ability to talk [expletive],” another person said.

“Ty stay keeping reciepts!!! I [expletive] love it 🫶🏻” a Pacers fan posted.

“One of the best athlete tweets of all time. Hall of fame.”

“You hate him when he does it to your team, but anyone else it’s hilarious,” another fan laughed.

Haliburton finished with 21 points, 13 assists, six rebounds, three steals and a block on 53% shooting against his team’s most hated rival. But it wasn’t enough to secure Eastern Conference Finals MVP honors — those belonged to Pascal Siakam.
