The Pacers return to the Fieldhouse to play the Bulls after a 2-1 road trip.

The Pacers return to the Fieldhouse looking to build on the two wins they gathered to close out their three-game roadie. The Bulls were able to arrive ahead of the storm so the game should be able to tip off despite the wintery conditions outside.

Like the Pacers, the Bulls are not whole thanks to injuries and the list remains long, pushing Chicago into a youth movement around the 28 points per game they are getting from Zach LaVine. Wendell Carter Jr. is questionable but Lauri Markkanen is out which should give the Pacers a front court advantage at both ends of the floor.

The Pacers and Nate Bjorkgren have been trying to find a formula that works for winning since trading Victor Oladipo and have recently found they don’t have to lean exclusively on Domas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon. The two player remain quality options to start with and Sabonis in particular should be rested and ready to roll after letting his teammates put the W to bed in Atlanta.

The Pacers beat the Bulls 125-106 in the second game of the year for both teams. Sabonis had a tidy 22, 11, 10 triple-double in that one, but alas Oladipo and T.J. Warren combined for 45 points. Yep, the Pacers will need a new formula for winning this time around.
